Sillery Sainsbury, late Dorset Regiment, whose death has occurred suddenly, from heart failure, at "The Wharf", Taplow, Bucks, was a brother of the late Mr. Cecil Sainsbury, a former Managing Director of Stothert and Pitt, Ltd., the Bath engineering and crane-making firm. He spent several months in Bath every year ....

    He was the last surviving member of a family descended from the original of "Mr Pickwick," and whose home was formerly at Bathford Manor, Bath.

    The funeral has taken place at Reading Crematorium."
